Tamil Filmmaker Suresh Sangaiah Passes Away After Battling Liver Failure

Tamil director Suresh Sangaiah passed away on November 15 in Chennai.

Tamil director Suresh Sangaiah passed away on November 15 at 11 PM in Chennai. According to reports, the news of his demise was confirmed by cinematographer Saran. The late filmmaker died due to liver failure.

Director Halitha Shameem expressed her grief and shock on Suresh Sangaiah’s suddedn demise. She wrote, “Shocked and saddened to hear about @sureshsangaiah’s passing. I’ve always held #OruKidayinKarunaiManu as a precious film and now with a deeper significance (sic).”

Suresh rose to fame with his directorial debut film ‘Oru Kidayin Karunai Manu’, which became a hit. He later directed ‘Sathya Sothanai’, which was released in 2023.
