Tamil Actor Mansoor Ali Khan’s Son Detained Over Alleged Involvement in Drug Trafficking Case: Report

Tamil actor Mansoor Ali Khan's son Ali Khan Tughlaq was arrested on December 4 for his alleged connection in drug trafficking case.

Tamil actor Mansoor Ali Khan’s son Ali Khan Tughlaq has been arrested in his alleged involvement in drug trafficking case. According to a report by IANS, the Thirumangalam Police arrested him on the Wednesday morning after he was questioned by them in this case. 10 people, including college students, have also been arrested in the same drug trade case.

Apart from Ali Khan Tughlaq, individuals named Seyad Saki, Mohammed Riyas Ali, and Faisal Ahmed have also been detained. The police is currently investigating this case and not much details have been revealed.

For the unversed, Mansoor Ali Khan is well known face in the Tamil cinema and has appeared in several hit movies. He was earlier involved in the controversy with actress Trisha after he made some objectionable comments about her. He said, “When I heard that I was acting with Trisha, I thought there would be a bedroom scene in the film. I thought I would carry her to the bedroom just like I did with other actresses in my earlier movies. I have done so many rape scenes and it’s not new to me. But these guys didn’t even show Trisha to me on the sets during the shoot in Kashmir.”

This comment created a massive controversy on social media as netizens called out Mansoor Ali Khan’s for his questionable comments. Trisha even called his comments ‘sexist, disrespectful and misogynistic’.
