Aashim Gulati, Aditi Rao Hydari, Shubham Kumar Mehra, and Naseeruddin Shah are among the ensemble cast members of the upcoming drama. Dharmendra debuted his first appearance as Shaik Slim Chisti a few days ago, and in it, he appeared utterly unlike himself, sporting a white beard and long clothing. By posting the clip on Twitter, the creators have now sparked followers’ interest. Starting on March 3, 2023, ZEE5 will air the 10-part family drama series. The Mughal era has typically been depicted through the romanticised lens of romance, but Taj – Divided by Blood will present these historical personalities as flawed human beings with passions, ambitions, and shortcomings.

The Mughal Emperor and his kingdom’s history are briefly described in the film. The plot revolves around King Akbar’s rule as he searches for a deserving heir, with Dharmendra playing Sheikh Salim Christi. By highlighting the beauty and ferocity of this magnificent dynasty, the trailer dramatically dramatises the rise and collapse of the succeeding generations. Fans can expect the video to transport them back in the time given the king’s love of the arts, poetry, and architecture.

The Contiloe Digital-produced series is marketed as a candid look into the inner workings and succession drama that transpired in the Mughal empire’s hallowed locations. William Borthwick is the show’s producer, and Ronald Scalpello and Simon Fantauzzo are in charge of directing and writing Scripts, respectively.
Key parts will also be played by actors Subodh Bhave, Aayam Mehta, Deepraj Rana, Shivani Tanksale, Padma Damodharan, Pankaj Saraswat, Digambar Prasad, and Zachary Coffin. Soon, Taj – Separated by Blood will be available on ZEE5.
