The Hera Pheri fanbase was thrilled when Priyadarshan responded to Akshay Kumar’s birthday wish with an exciting announcement. The filmmaker expressed his willingness to direct Hera Pheri 3, provided the original trio- Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal was on board.
Akshay, visibly excited, quickly responded, “Sir!!! Your birthday, but I got the best gift of my life. Chalo karte hain phir thodi hera pheri!” Meanwhile, Gulshan Grover, who played the iconic villain Kabira, also chimed in, stating, “KABIRA SPEAKING …Hera Pheri 3! Tabu Reacts: ‘The Cast Won’t Be Complete Without Me’
Tabu, who played Anuradha Shivshankar Panikar in the original Hera Pheri (2000), added to the conversation with a cheeky response. Taking to Instagram stories, she re-shared Akshay Kumar’s birthday post for Priyadarshan and wrote, “Of course the cast won’t be complete without me!!!!!! @priyadarshan.official.”

When Will Hera Pheri 3 Begin Filming?
According to a report by Pinkvilla, Hera Pheri 3 is expected to go on floors in December 2025. Priyadarshan is currently focused on completing Bhooth Bangla, starring Akshay Kumar and Tabu, with post-production scheduled to conclude by mid-2025.
