Actress Swara Bhasker has slammed food blogger Nalini Unagari for her ‘proud vegetarian’ tweet. On Sunday at X, Nalini shared a picture of her meal. It consisted of fried rice and some paneer.

What Did The Food Blogger Say

Sharing the picture, Nalini wrote, “I am proud to be a vegetarian. My plate is clean of tears, cruelty, and guilt.”

Here’s What Swara Replied

Responding to this, Swara wrote, “Honestly…I don’t understand this arrogant arrogance of vegetarians. Your whole diet consists of denying mother’s milk to calves..forcibly oversaturating cows, separating them from their babies, and stealing their milk. ”

She also added: “Eating vegetables? It kills the whole plant! Please relax expressing virtue just because it’s Bakr Eid! (Hands crossed emoji).” Bakr Eid, also known as Eid al-Adha, is celebrated from June 16-17.

Swara Celebrates Eid

Swara’s tweet came a few months after she celebrated Eid al-Fitr. She celebrated the festival with her husband Fahad Ahmad and daughter Raabiya. Swara shared a glimpse of her Eid celebrations on Instagram stories. In one story, Swara was seen with Raabiya during the screening of Eid ka Chaand. In another picture, Swara, her daughter, and Fahad posed for a joint family picture. Swara is a Hindu, and Fahad is a Muslim.

When Swara Talked About Her And Fahad’s Cultures

Last year, Swara performed chhathi puja for Raabiyaa. She shared pictures from the party and said she found a cultural similarity between her and Fahad’s families. Swara wrote, “The kid is confused about what we are. So he is up 62.5%. 12.5% Bihar.. 25% Andhra. And I’m all for representation and I’m always here for the party! Also since the wedding we have discovered common cultural practices shared by Hindus and Muslims in North India, which reinforces my belief that people can come from all diversity, but love and joy find a common language!”

The caption also read, “Chhathhi or child’s 6th birthday is celebrated in UP Bihar where mother and child are dressed in hadi/turmeric color and aunts/bua apply kajal to child and mother and father to protect child and family from” nazar” or evil. . eye song popular’ sohar’a (birth songs for newborns) Traditionally sohars celebrate male newborns oh and mothers don’t sing sohars, sisters and aunties but I was like dholak aa Gaya hai, thanks Bhanu ji @partapsinghb11 for the dholak, who did.
