Shweta, Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister, is currently in India and talked about how she spent several days in introspection following her brother’s passing. Following this, she has authored a book titled ‘Pain’. She is promoting this book in India, and media interviews are also being conducted in this regard. Shweta has previously mentioned that she continues to feel her brother’s presence. Now, there is another viral interview in which she has explained why she believes Sushant was murdered. Not only that, Shweta also revealed that before Sushant’s death, she had a strange sense of unease.
The news of Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise on June 14, 2020, shook everyone deeply. His sister revealed on the YouTube channel “Sanwad” that on the night of the 13th, she was experiencing a strange feeling. Shweta mentioned that the night before Sushant’s death, on the 13th, she was feeling very restless and was discussing the topic of death with her husband.
Shweta says, “I was trying to understand that death doesn’t necessarily mean someone has completely departed. Around 9:30 to 10 at night, this thought kept occurring to me. Then around 1:30 in the late night, Vishal’s (husband) phone rang. He said that Gulshan is no more. Shweta narrates that her body froze. She said, ‘When something like this happens, something within me protects.'”
Didn’t get to say Goodbye
Shweta said, “There was a call from Rani Di on the phone. She was crying. When something like this happens, the brain stops functioning. We go into survival mode. I was in California. The final rites were being performed. It felt bad that I didn’t even get the chance to say goodbye for the last time.”

Shweta mentioned that when you don’t see someone for the last time, it’s hard to believe that they’re gone. Sometimes, she felt it was a bad dream, thinking someone would wake her up and everything would be fine.
Shweta revealed that she spoke to Sushant on June 12th when she was with her brother. He seemed troubled and didn’t speak much during the call. It seemed like he was distracted. When Shweta asked him what he was doing, he replied that he was flying kites. He told Ruby Di to go to Katya’s place as she was alone.
Shweta revealed that she didn’t believe Sushant could take his own life. Initially, she didn’t even consider the possibility of murder. Shweta was avoiding discussing the matter, but she explained why she felt something was amiss. She mentioned her surprise that there was no working CCTV camera in the area. Also, there was no stool near the bed from which Sushant allegedly hanged himself.
The distance between the bed and the fan wasn’t so great that a stool would be needed. Shweta mentioned that if Sushant’s hands reached the fan and he hanged himself, according to the body’s automatic process, his legs should have touched the bed. Shweta said, “If you’re hanging, you’d place your legs on the bed. If he had done that, he would have survived.” Shweta expressed her frustration that people are unable to understand how Sushant’s life ended. She said, “There’s a wound inside us because we don’t know what happened.” She appealed to the CBI to at least tell them something. She said, “We don’t want anything, just tell us so we can all heal.”
