Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on June 14, 2020, just after death of his manager Disha Salian. More than four years have been passed but his death continues to raise questions till now. Despite being investigated by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), the circumstances surrounding both deaths remain hazy. Fans and family members of the actor are still asking for justice and accountability.
Now, as per the new update, a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) has been submitted to the Bombay High Court, demanding that the CBI should disclose its findings regarding the investigation into the deaths of Sushant and Disha. The PIL also calls for the questioning and potential arrest of Aditya Thackeray in connection with both cases.
The PIL was filed by the Supreme Court and High Court Litigants Association of India, and it requests a more in-depth inquiry into the incidents. Rashid Khan Pathan, the president of the association, has even called for Aditya Thackeray’s custodial interrogation in relation to the cases.
Link Between Aditya Thackeray And Sushant Singh Rajput’s Death
Disha Salian, Sushant’s manager, fell to her death on June 8, 2020, after reportedly having an argument with her boyfriend during a party. Less than a week later, Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai apartment, sparking widespread speculations and media attention.
During the initial investigations both deaths were labelled as suicides but people have continued to speculate and suggest that the deaths are interconnected in some or the other way. Specifically, there have been ongoing rumours about the potential involvement of Aditya Thackeray, a prominent shiv sena leader. However, official findings have yet to confirm any such involvement.
Court Hearing Scheduled For February 19
The Bombay High Court is set to hear the PIL on February 19, and many are hoping that this new update will lead to a more transparent investigation into both the cases. Fans and the actor’s family are continuously waiting for the justice, as the search for truth in this high-profile case continues.
