Veteran actor Suresh Oberoi, Vivek Oberoi’s father, recently recalled facing “another struggle” to launch his son in Bollywood. During the interview, the actor recalled sitting outside the producer’s office with Vivek’s picture on his finger.
Speaking to Bollywood Hungama, Suresh shared his reaction to Vivek’s decision to become an actor like him. She said, “I have been taking care of him since childhood. I made him do plays, (acting) classes and attended an FTII course with my parents.
He added, “For Vivek, I would fight. I would sit outside offices with his photo in my hand. Ram Gopal Varma’s office and all these other offices. It was another fight for me. Then finally Ramu (Ram Gopal Varma) gave me his first film.”
For the uninitiated, Vivek Oberoi debuted Bollywood with RGV’s ‘Enterprise’ starring Ajay Devgn.
