Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Dhawan will team up for the second time in the new rom-com ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’. The movie has already been winning hearts due to its stellar songs, and ‘Panwadi’ is the latest addition to that. ‘Panwadi’ is the new Holi anthem, sung by Khesari Lal Yadav, Masoom Sharma, Dev Negi, Pritam, Nikhita Gandhi and AKASA.
In the music video, the lead cast Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor, Sanya Malhotra and Rohit Saraf are seen flaunting their dance moves. While talking about her experience of shooting ‘Panwadi’, Janhvi said, “Filming Panwadi was such an experience, the energy on set was electric. It felt less like a shoot and more like a festival unfolding in front of us. The song has this infectious vibe that just stays with you.”
Varun Dhawan added, “Panwadi is pure celebration brought to life on screen. Shooting the song felt like being part of a real Holi party — vibrant colours splashing everywhere, infectious beats pumping, and an energy that was simply contagious. It’s the kind of song that will make people jump out of their seats and dance with pure joy. Sanya Malhotra, who is also known for her impeccable dance skills, further said, “The beats of Panwadi instantly pull you in. Shooting it felt like celebrating Holi for days, with all of us drenched in colours, laughter, and madness. I can’t wait to see people play it everywhere this season.”
Rohit Saraf shared that he is sure the audience will love the song and said, “What I love about Panwadi is how youthful and playful it feels. On set, it was pure chaos in the best way possible, fun, energy, and so much colour. I think audiences will feel that joy right through the screen.”

‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’ will release in theatres on October 2, 2025. The movie is directed by Shashank Khaitan and produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta and Shashank Khaitan under Dharma Productions and Mentor Disciple Entertainment present.
