Mayasabha

Rahi Anil Barve, of “Tumbaad” fame, directs his second film, Mayasabha. The film is built as a psychological thriller, with Javed Jaffrey playing the lead part. The plot centres on an unsuccessful director who lives with his son in his decaying theatre. When two strangers arrive at their house, things quickly turn worse. Apart from Javed Jaffrey, Veena Jamkar and Deepak Damle also play important roles. The film is expected to be released in theatres on January 16, 2026.

Happy Patel: Dangerous Detective

The film “Happy Patel: Dangerous Detective” marks the directorial debut of actor and stand-up comedian Vir Das. It’s a distinct dark spy comedy entertainer. The plot of the film is yet to be revealed. Aamir Khan and Imran Khan will make special appearances. The film stars Vir Das, Mona Singh, Ellie Flory Fawcett, Priyanshu Chatterjee, and Jemima Dunn. The film’s cast includes Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, Shalini Pandey, Chunky Pandey, Piyush Mishra, Manu Rishi Chaddha, Amit Sial, and Sumit Gulati. The film, directed by Vipul Vig, is slated to be released in theatres on January 16, 2026.
