Veteran actor Dharmendra has been discharged from the hospital after he was admitted due to serious health concerns. He became the victim of a death hoax, for which his wife, Hema Malini and his daughter, Esha Deol, slammed the media for spreading false information. His son, Sunny Deol, has now come forward to call out the paparazzi for invading their privacy.
Sunny Deol, with folded hands, slammed the paparazzi for standing outside his residence and invading the privacy during a tough time in their family. He was heard saying, “Aap logo ke ghar me maa-baap nahi hai… aapko sharam nahi aati.” Netizens echoed Sunny Deol’s sentiments and called the paparazzi insensitive.
Meanwhile, Dharmendra earlier fell victim to a death hoax, but his team assured that the actor is stable and recovering. His team shared an official statement and requested that the public and media refrain from any further speculation regarding his health.
The statement read, “Mr. Dharmendra has been discharged from the hospital and will continue his recovery at home. We kindly request the media and the public to refrain from any further speculation and to respect his and the family’s privacy during this time. We appreciate everyone’s love, prayers, and good wishes for his continued recovery, good health, and long life. Please respect him because he loves you.”
Earlier, his wife Hema Malini slammed the death rumours of Dharmendra and requested privacy in the tough times. She wrote on X, “What is happening is unforgivable! How can responsible channels spread false news about a person who is responding to treatment and is recovering? This is being extremely disrespectful and irresponsible. Please give due respect to the family and its need for privacy.”
On the work front, Dharmendra will return to the big screen with the film ‘Ikkis’.
