First Son Of Sardar 2 and now Andaz 2… the Saiyaara snowballing effect hits the new releases bigtime.
After Ajay Devgan’s Son Of Sardar 2, which has been postponed by a week from July 25 to August 1, Suneel Darshan has shifted his lovestory Andaz 2 from August 1 to August 8.
Explaining the need to make the move, Suneel Darshan says, “The unexpected tumultuous opening to Mohit Suri-directed Saiyaara and its expectations of sustained audiences’ turnaround in the days ahead, has called for a renewed scheduling of movies in the weeks ahead. So Son Of Sardar 2’s producer has shifted to 1st August and my ANDAAZ 2 has moved to 8th August. Compelled by the paucity of screens and multiplex programming/scheduling… also, ANDAAZ 2 features newcomers and requires an open week to establish itself like its predecessor Saiyaara.”
