Sumathi Valavu is a 2025 Indian Malayalam language horror comedy film. The story is inspired by a real place called Sumathi Valavu in Mylamoodu, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.
According to legend, a pregnant woman named Sumathi was killed by her lover in the 1950s, and her ghost is said to haunt the area. Over time, criminals reportedly used these ghost stories to scare people away and carry out illegal activities. The filmmakers have taken these tales and turned them into a fictional horror-comedy story.

Plot
The story revolves around a haunted spot called Sumathi Valavu, where the ghost of a Tamil woman has been haunting for years. A group of people visiting the place face strange and supernatural events connected to it.
