The official trailer of Sudhanshu Rai’s upcoming film BAIDA, the Number 1 Most Anticipated Indian movie as per filmdom’s encyclopedia IMDb, is finally out. The official trailer of the first-of-its kind sci-fi thriller was released at a PVR in Noida, in the presence of the film’s director Puneet Sharma, and lead cast Sudhanshu and Shobhit Sujay. Ever since its release on YouTube, BAIDA trailer has left the audience in a tizzy, leaving them with bated breath for March 21, the pan-India theatrical release date of the film.
The trailer shows a dark world where a power named as ‘Pishaach’ has defied the realms of the worldly and joined by a sinister force whose mere appearance is a message of death. Getting entrapped in this vicious cycle is the lead protagonist, a former spy who vows to put an end to this fatal entrapment. Few glimpses further reveal spiritual amalgamation and scientific energies mingling for an intriguing tale and the battle of prey versus the devil.
Film buffs and fans have repeatedly mentioned that the sci-fi supernatural thriller has been giving them the vibes of popular global shows Stranger Things and Dark, as well as path-breaking films like Tumbbad and Bramayugam. BAIDA is based on one of the most popular stories penned by India’s favourite storyteller and actor Sudhanshu Rai, and the direction is helmed by Puneet Sharma, whose last outing was Chintaa Mani.
