Stree 2 Box Office Collection Day 42: Despite new releases such as Kahan Shuru Kahan Khatam and Yudhra, Stree 2 continues to cast its charm in the sixth week. The horror comedy starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao in the lead roles garnered 1.3 crore (approximately) on Day 41 and the numbers are continuously increasing on Wednesday – Day 42 since the release. As per Trade experts, the film’s craze will continue till something as big as Devara or Jigra releases in theatres.
As per the data shared by Sacnilk, Stree 2 has collected 0.03 crore so far on Day 42. This based on advance bookings and tickets purchased so far. The final figures will come by the end of the day, but the film is expected to do business of approximately 1.2 crore.
The Amar Kaushik directorial became the highest grossing film of all time after surpassing Jawaan’s collection. So far, it has done minted approximately Rs 580 crore at the box office.
About The Film
Stree 2 entertained audience with its stellar cast, mind-blowing performances and an engaging story line. The film also hinted at a horror-comedy universe, which will weave together the stories of Bhediya, Roohi, very much on the lines of Marvel. Towards the end, actor Varun Dhawan also makes a cameo, leaving the audience stunned.
Stree 2: Sarkate Ka Atank shows Shraddha Kapoor’s character coming back to Chanderi to protect the people from the headless monster (Sarkata). The film was released on August 15 and has been running for almost a month now.
Besides the lead actors, the film also stars Panjak Tripathi, Abhishek Banejee, Vijay Raaz, Anya Singh, Aparshakti Khurana, Bhoomi Rajgor and Suneel Kumar in pivotal roles. Also, there is a dance number by actor Tamannaah Bhatia.
