Stranger Things Season 5 Volume 2 will arrive on Netflix within a few days. Before its release, Ross Duffer has given a brief about what fans should expect from the upcoming episodes. Ross Duffer, in a lengthy Instagram note, explained what fans can expect from the three episodes in volume two.
The director wrote on Instagram, “Chapters Five, Six and Seven: locked, mixed, scored, colored… Volume Two is DONE.”
While talking about episode 5, he added, “Shock Jock” picks up moments after the end of “Sorcerer”. Frank Darabont is back, but he flexes very different muscles on this one than he did on “Turnbow Trap”— it’s far darker, and far scarier.”
““Escape from Camazotz” is Shawn Levy’s return to the director’s chair. It’s the biggest episode of the three— and the performances make us cry every time we watch it,” he further shared explaining episode six.
He concluded, ““The Bridge”… we co-directed this one with Shawn. Don’t want to say too much, but aside from the finale, it’s probably the most emotional chapter of the season. It’s gonna be a long six day wait for the finale… Runtimes to come.”
While speaking to Tudum, Noah Schnapp, who plays Will, revealed his reaction after getting to know this major development about his character.
He shared, “It was such a dream. I remember texting the Duffers a long paragraph the next day after I filmed that scene and being like, “You guys don’t understand how grateful I am for this show and this character, and the way you wrote Will for the final season is just something I could have never dreamed of.” So getting to have that opportunity with that scene was such an incredible experience, such a high for me and probably one of my favorite filming sequences of the year. And for Will, that moment is like the Holy Grail moment.”
Stranger Things Season 5 Volume 2 will release in India on December 26.
