Stranger Things Season 5 Volume 2 will arrive on Netflix within a few days and fans are excited to know how people of Hawkins will defeat Vecna. Before watching Volume 2 on December 26, refresh your memory by reading this quick recap of first part.
Stranger Things Season 5 Volume 1 Recap:
1. The first volume starts with a flashback of Will getting caught by Vecna and fighting to survive in the Upside Down. Meanwhile, in Hawkins, 18 months have passed since the earthquake and the city is surrounded by military.
2. Everyone’s lives have changed. Steve and Robin start a radio show, Dustin is grieving the loss of Eddie. Others also prepare to fight Vecna. Will finds out he is telepathically connected to Vecna and other Demogorgon.
3. Mike and Nancy’s parents, Karen and Ted, get injured and their youngster Holly is kidnapped. They find out she and several kids were talking to an unknown person Mr. Whatsit, who turned out to be Vecna aka OO1. Will finds out that Derek, Holly’s classmate, is the next victim. Derek is kidnapped by Robin, Will, Joyce and Erica to save him but later they are attacked by a Demogorgon.
4. Holly finds herself in Vecna’s childhood home and we also see Max alive. Meanwhile, Hopper and Eleven infiltrate the military base to kill Vecna and discover Kali, captured by Dr Kay.
5. All the kids are captured by Demogorgons. when Mike, Lucas and Robin are nearly attack with no chance of escape, Will gains powers and kills Demogorgons. He wipes the blood off nose, signifying that he has gained powers like Eleven.
While speaking to Tudum, Noah Schnapp, who plays Will, revealed his reaction after getting to know this major development about his character.
He shared, “It was such a dream. I remember texting the Duffers a long paragraph the next day after I filmed that scene and being like, “You guys don’t understand how grateful I am for this show and this character, and the way you wrote Will for the final season is just something I could have never dreamed of.” So getting to have that opportunity with that scene was such an incredible experience, such a high for me and probably one of my favorite filming sequences of the year. And for Will, that moment is like the Holy Grail moment.”
Stranger Things Season 5 Volume 2 will release in India on December 26. It will have three episodes.
