‘Stranger Things Season 5’ is gearing up for its exciting premiere on Netflix within a few days. As fans are currently waiting to see the show, the creators Matt and Ross Duffer made a shocking revelation that one of the main characters was almost killed. It is none other than Jim Hopper, played by David Harbour.
While talking to Entertainment Weekly, Matt and Ross Duffer reveal that Hopper was one of the characters who almost died in the third season. His character was shown to be killed at the end but he made a return in the fourth season.
Matt said, “Hopper at the end of season 3. I think death grazed him. There was a version where he perished at the end of 3. It’s been a while since we had those discussions, but I feel like he came the closest to dying.”
As fans are already on the edge of their seats waiting for the finale, Joe Keery, aka Steve Harrington, has hinted at the show’s ending. For the unversed, Steve started out as a recurring cast in the first season but became the main and one of the most loved characters. While talking about the show’s ending, Joe Keery told ExtraTV, “I was very happy, though, with the way it wrapped up for me. Fans would absolutely like it.” He further hinted that the show’s ending might be bittersweet for the viewers.
The series will end with its fifth season. It will release in three volumes, with part one releasing on November 26, part two on December 26 and part three on January 1, 2026.
