New Delhi: There have been four engrossing seasons of the popular science fiction show Stranger Things so far. The show’s writers, the Duffer brothers, unhappily revealed that the Writers Guild of America strike had unfortunately delayed the production of the fifth and final season as fans were eagerly awaiting its release.
Stranger Things Season 5 delayed as per reports
The fifth and final season of the Netflix horror series “Stranger Things” has reportedly been delayed due to a dispute between the Writers Guild of America and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers.
The Duffer brothers took to Twitter and wrote, “Duffers here. Writing does not stop when filming begins. While we’re excited to start production with our amazing cast and crew, it is not possible during this strike. We hope a fair deal is reached soon so we can all get back to work. Until then — over and out.”

Stranger Things has already established itself as one of the most binge-worthy television shows of all time, with a perfect blend of humour and terror. The fantastic cast of the television series includes Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven, Finn Wolfhard as Mike, Winona Ryder as Joyce, David Harbour as Chief Hopper, Gaten Matarazoo as Dustin, and Joe Keery as Steve Harrington, among others.
In their performances, the cast demonstrates exceptional brilliance and compassion. While it is unfortunate that Season 5 will be the show’s final season, it is reassuring to know that the future season will return after the strike is finished.
