Stranger Things Season 5 is all set to arrive on Netflix within a few days. As the excitement among the fans is at its peak, the show’s creators Matt and Ross Duffer gave a hint about the finale. He revealed that the fans can expect some violent and brutal deaths in the last season.
While speaking to The Times, Matt revealed, “I would say season 5 is not as violent as season 4, but it has the most violent death of any season.” He further said that they tried to restrain themselves while showcasing gory scenes, but some things are unavoidable.
“The goal was always to scale up each series with the age of the characters and our audience,” Ross Duffer added.

Earlier, the show caught attention when Noah Schnapp, who plays Will Byers, almost revealed a spoiler for the fifth season.
While speaking to TV Guide, Noah Schnapp and Millie Bobby Brown, who plays Eleven, were asked about the most misunderstood character in the series. He said, “Low-key Vecna, because like…” However, Millie quickly stopped him, hinting that there might be a spoiler for Vecna’s character. She added, “Really? No, shut up. That’s it; now be quiet. Let’s just not even [go there], because today has been a day, and we want to do so much for you, but we’re not smart enough to dance around these questions.”
For the unversed, Vecna, played by Jamie Campbell Bower, is the main antagonist of the series, and his performance has given chills down the spines. The fourth season shed light on Vecna’s origin story, but did not reveal much about his hatred towards humanity.
Stranger Things Season 5 Volume 1 will release on Netflix on November 26, 2025.
