Stranger Things has become one of the most watched shows on Netflix and will come to an end with its most-awaited fifth and final season. Set in the 1980s in the fictional town of Hawkins, the show focuses on the supernatural events that occurs in the city and how its residents get connected to it. Ahead of the release of Stranger Things Season 5, Jamie Campbell talked about how he was affected after playing the villain in the show. For the unversed, Jamie joined the series in the fourth season and played Vecna aka 001 or Henry.
During a fan event for MegaCon Orlando, Jamie said, “We were going through some stuff, and he was like, ‘We really need to make sure that you carve out time for you whenever you’re working next.’ I turned around to him, and I was like, ‘Yeah, to be honest with you, man, I just don’t think I’ll be doing another bad guy for a minute.”
He added, “Like it f—s me up. I’m dead serious.” While further talking about his journey in the show, Jamie said, “It’s been amazing, and it’s been an incredible journey, to join the show from season 4, to be part of something that so many people love and something that I loved as well and still love. But I definitely am ready to hang up the foam latex and wish him a slippery farewell.”
Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Eduardo FrancoCaleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Cara Buono, Maya Hawke, Priah Ferguson, Matthew Modine will be also seen in ‘Stranger Things Season 5’.
‘Stranger Things Season 4’ ended with Vecna and the Upside down starting to invade Hawkins after the city witnessed a massive earthquake.
