‘Stranger Things’ is heading towards its ending with the fifth and final season. The series has been a fan favourite since the beginning, and its finale will be a bittersweet feeling for the fans. Earlier, the makers revealed that each episode of the show will feel like a movie, and the latest reports regarding its runtime have been shocking.
According to reports by Puck News, all the episodes of ‘Stranger Things Season 5’ will have a runtime of over an hour. It can even extend to 90 to 120 minutes. In an earlier interview, creator Matt Duffer revealed, “We…captured over 650 hours of footage. So…this is our biggest and most ambitious season yet. It’s like eight blockbuster movies.”
However, the audience won’t have to worry about seeing all the lengthy episodes in one go. The series will release in three parts. The first part will include four episodes and will release on November 26. The second part will have three episodes and will release on Netflix on December 25, i.e. on Christmas. Meanwhile, the finale aka the eighth episode or volume three, will release on December 31, i.e. on New Year’s eve.
