‘Stranger Things’ has changed the game for Netflix since its release, and the credit goes to its creators, Matt and Ross Duffer. As the show is coming to its end with its fifth season, the Duffer Brothers are reportedly planning to leave Netflix as well. As per several reports, they are in advanced negotiations to exclusively create film and television with another studio.
According to a report by Variety, the Duffer Brothers are planning to join Paramount Studios. Neither the Duffers nor Paramount have commented on the rumours. Meanwhile, the creators of Stranger Things still have to do some collaborations with Netflix. They have reportedly worked on two more series, which will release in 2026. An animated series from the world of ‘Stranger Things’ will also air on Netflix.
About Stranger Things Season 5:
Stranger Things Season 5 will arrive on Netflix in 2025 in three volumes. The first part will include four episodes and will release on November 26. The second part will have three episodes and will release on Netflix on December 25, i.e. on Christmas. Meanwhile, the finale aka the eighth episode or volume three, will release on December 31, i.e. on New Year’s Eve.
The last season will star Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Maya Hawke, Priah Ferguson, Brett Gelman, Cara Buono, Jamie Campbell Bower and Amybeth McNulty. Linda Hamilton has joined the cast as well. For the unversed, Linda is best known for playing the role of Sarah Connor in the hit ‘Terminator’ franchise. Although it is officially confirmed that Linda Hamilton will feature in ‘Stranger Things Season 5’, details around her role in the show have been kept under wraps.

The final season will have a total of 8 episodes. The first episode is titled ‘The Crawl’, followed by ‘The Vanishing Of..’, ‘The Turnbow Trap’, ‘Sorcerer’, ‘Shock Jock’, ‘Escape From Camaztoz’, ‘The Bridge’ and ‘The Rightside Up’.
