Stranger Things Cast Turns Cheerleaders For Sadie Sink As She Makes Her Broadway Debut

Sadie Sink, who plays the role of Max in the show, has joined the Broadway show titled ‘John Proctor Is the Villain’. Her Stranger Things co-star turned cheerleader for her as she takes a step further in the entertainment world.

Stranger Things stars Finn Wolfhard, Maya Hawke, Natalia Dyer, and Gaten Matarazzo attended the opening night of much awaited Broadway play, John Proctor Is the Villain. The cast of Stranger Things share a close bond with each other, similar to their on-screen characters.

The play ‘John Proctor Is The Villain’ also stars Amalia Yoo, Fina Strazza, Maggie Kuntz, Hagan Oliveras, Gabriel Ebert and Molly Griggs. The show is written by Kimberly Belflower and directed by Danya Taymor. It focuses on a group of high school students, who are living in rural Georgia. Things take a turn after they realise that their reading of the play coincide with some sexual assault scandals in their area.

Meanwhile, Stranger Things is heading towards its finale with its fifth season. It stars Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Maya Hawke, Priah Ferguson, Brett Gelman, Cara Buono, Jamie Campbell Bower and Amybeth McNulty. Linda Hamilton has joined the cast as well.

For the unversed, Linda is best known for playing the role of Sarah Connor in the hit ‘Terminator’ franchise. Although it is officially confirmed that Linda Hamilton will join the cast of ‘Stranger Things Season 5’, details around her role in the show has been kept under wrap.

Meanwhile, Netflix has reportedly planned for a spin-off of Stranger Things but do not want to rush into things. Earlier, while speaking to Parade, Matt Duffer said, “We’re taking it one step at a time.”

Ross added, “We don’t wanna rush anything. We don’t wanna just do something just to do it, or for commercial reasons. We want it to have a real reason to exist and something that we’re all excited about.”

The official release date of Stranger Things Season 5 has not been revealed yet.
