SS Rajamouli Announces ‘Baahubali: The Epic’- A Re-Edited Combo Of Both Films; Here’s When It Will Hit Theatres!

Celebrating a decade of Baahubali, director SS Rajamouli has announced Baahubali: The Epic, a combined theatrical version of both films.

Marking the 10th anniversary of Baahubali, director SS Rajamouli has revealed that Baahubali: The Beginning (2015) and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (2017) will be re-released as a single, re-edited cinematic experience titled Baahubali: The Epic. The movies will be hitting the theatres soon. Here are the details on its release and available languages.

The film will hit theatres worldwide on October 31, 2025, in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Rajamouli shared a poster featuring Prabhas and wrote, “Baahubali… The beginning of many journeys. Countless memories. Endless inspiration. It’s been 10 years. Marking this special milestone with #BaahubaliTheEpic, a two-part combined film. In theatres worldwide on October 31, 2025.”

About Baahubali

Directed by the visionary director S. S. Rajamouli, the film set new benchmarks in Indian filmmaking from its majestic world-building to its unforgettable characters, rousing score, and emotional depth. The Baahubali franchise not only introduced the grandeur of Mahishmati but also gave us an iconic ensemble: Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan, Sathyaraj, and Nassar.

With multiple National Awards under its belt, including Best Feature Film and Best Special Effects, the film holds a special place in Indian cinema. It remains the sixth highest-grossing Telugu film of all time, and its Hindi dubbed version still holds the record for the highest-grossing dubbed Hindi film in history.

Baahubali: The Beginning earned approximately Rs 650 crore worldwide upon its release. Its sequel, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, surpassed all expectations, grossing Rs 1788 crore globally and securing its position as the third highest grossing Indian film of all time, following Dangal and Pushpa 2: The Rule.
