A viral video from Anurag Basu’s upcoming romantic musical shoot has sparked debate about on location filming safety protocols.
In the clip, Kartik and Sreeleela are seen walking through a crowded location when a man from the crowd suddenly pulls the actress. Sreeleela stumbled and tried to shield herself. Kartik, who had walked a little ahead, quickly turns around when he realises she’s not beside him. Though Sreeleela manages to regain her balance, the incident has raised serious questions about public safety during film productions.
This is scary, the way Sreeleela got dragged is so unsafe.

The Bouncers should have protected her better. Even normal girls can’t walk in such crowded situations, she is a famous actress. #Sreeleela #KartikAryan pic.twitter.com/bj7izx5jaR
The video has since gone viral and social media reactions have been divided where many viewers are wondering if the moment was part of a scripted scene or a real incident. One user added “Even if this is staged, it reflects real concerns. Women face this regularly, and there need to be stronger safety measures—especially for public shoots.” Others criticised the lack of crowd control, especially during public shoots involving female actors.

A similar incident happened with Kartik a few days earlier was also mobbed by fans during another shoot in Gangtok where several pictures and videos went viral online. In the clip, Kartik Aaryan was seen being greeted by a large crowd of fans who gathered around his car.
