Squid Game is one of the most popular shows on Netflix and took Korean cinema to new heights. After its second season ended on a big cliffhanger, the show is all set to return for its third season and it will also be its final chapter. The makers have dropped its new poster, featuring the main players. The intense look on the characters showcase what lies ahead in the final season.
Sharing the poster, the makers wrote, “step into the games one last time. SQUID GAME: SEASON 3. june 27.”
Squid Game Season 3 will release on Netflix worldwide on June 27, 2025.
Earlier, while announcing Season 3, director Hwang Dong-hyuk said in a statement, “I am beyond excited to be writing this letter to announce the date for Season 2 and share the news of Season 3, the final season. On the first day, we began shooting Season 2, I remember thinking, “Wow, I can’t believe I’m back in the world of Squid Game.” It almost felt surreal. I wonder how it will feel for you to be back in Squid Game after three years, as well.”

Squid Game Season 3 stars Lee Jung-jae, Lee Byung-hun, Wi Ha-joon, Im Si-wan, Kang Ha-neul, Park Gyu-young, Park Sung-hoon, Yang Dong-geun, Kang Ae-shim, Jo Yu-ri, Lee David, and Roh Jae-won. All the actors will reprise their roles from the previous seasons.
Meanwhile, the makers have also introduced Cheol-su, Young-hee’s giant robot doll boyfriend in the post-credit scene. For the unversed, Young-Hee is robot doll shown in ‘Red Light Green Light’ game in both seasons.
