Squid Game Season 2 New Teaser: ‘Squid Game’ is one of the most popular Netflix original series of all time and is all set to return with its new season. The show helped Korean cinema reach new heights and broke several records by winning various accolades. Korean superstar Gong Yoo made a special appearance as the recruiter in the first season and it was announced that he will reprise his role in ‘Squid Game Season 2’ as well. Netflix has dropped a special teaser, featuring Gong Yoo, where he is seen hunting for a potential player.

Sharing the video, Netflix wrote, “You’re invited. SQUID GAME SEASON 2 arrives December 26.”
Fans can’t keep calm after seeing Gong Yoo returning to ‘Squid Game Season 2’. One Instagram user wrote, “Anyone else just overly excited to see GongYoo.” Another netizen commented, “Omg! Gong Yoo…. it seems even more interesting than before. Can’t wait for season 2.”
The official description of ‘Squid Game Season 2’ by Netflix reads, “Three years after winning Squid Game, Player 456 gave up going to the states and comes back with a new resolution in his mind. Gi-hun once again dives into the mysterious survival game, starting another life-or-death game with new participants gathered to win the prize of 45.6 billion won.”

Directed by Hwang Dong-hyuk, the series stars Lee Jung-jae, Lee Byung-hun and Wi Ha-jun in the lead roles and will reprise their roles from the previous season.
While speaking to Netflix about the fans’ expectations for ‘Squid Game Season 2’, director Hwang Dong Hyuk said, “I do have a lot on my shoulders, but I’ll make sure it’s worth the wait.” Executive producer Kim Ji-yeon added, “There’s definitely a lot of pressure on how to make [Season 2] even better. I know that a lot of the different fans and audiences have enjoyed the series very much, but, really, we’re focusing on how to make it even more joyful to the global audience.”
Yim Si-wan, Kang Ha-neul, Park Gyu-young, Lee Jin-uk, Park Sung-hoon, Yang Dong-geun, Kang Ae-sim, Lee David, Choi Seung-hyun, Roh Jae-won, Jo Yu-ri, and Won Ji-an are the new addition to the new season.
