New Delhi: The popular Korean series Squid Game is a story of desperate debt-ridden individuals, who make up the list of willing participants on a mysterious game on a mysterious island. The Netflix series, that became a global spurt is coming up with another season.
Recently, Lee Jung Jae who played the role of Seong Gi-hun, appeared on the broadcasting channel JTBC’s Newsroom. Reportedly, the actor spoke about the second season of Squid Game. Talking about the progress, he said that the director Hwang Dong Hyuk is currently working on the script of ‘Squid Game’ season 2.

He also revealed that, the writer has completed a larger portion of the show. Jee Jung said that the writer has planned the particulars of the main characters.
Meanwhile, Lee Jung Jae has been nominated for the ‘Outstanding Lead Actor In A Drama Series’ award at the ‘2022 Primetime Emmy Awards’ that are scheduled to take place on September 12.
‘Squid Game’ has in total managed to score a historic 14 nominations including one for ‘Outstanding Drama Series’.
