New Delhi: The popular Netflix show ‘Squid Game’ will return for Season 2 next year. The buzz surrounding the Season 2 cast lineup is incomprehensible. Netflix announced the initial line-up for ‘Squid Game 2’ at the Tudum event. It was chastised for not include a female cast member. Several names have surfaced since then, and today, Netflix Korea revealed the names of the new lineup, along with images from their first reading.
Squid Game 2 New Cast Names
New additions for ‘Squid Game 2’ include Park Gyu-young (Sweet Home), Jo Yu-ri of Iz*One, Kang Ae-sim (Move to Heaven), Lee David (The Fortress and Svaha: The Sixth Finger), Lee Jin-uk (Miss Granny and Sweet Home), BigBang member Choi Seung-hyun (Tazza: The Hidden Card and Commitment), Roh Jae-won (Missing Yoon and Ditto), and Won Ji-an (Heartbeat).

Other recurrent cast members include Lee Byung-hun, who will play the Front Man, and Wi Ha-jun, who will play police detective Jun-ho. In addition to Lee Jung-jae, Gong Yoo will return.
Yim Si-wan (Unlocked), Kang Ha-Neul (Midnight Runners), Park Sung-hoon (The Glory), and Yang Dong-geun (Yaksha: Ruthless Operations) will be among the primary cast members.
Hwang Dong-hyuk, the director, will also return.
On September 17, 2021, the show premiered on Netflix. It is still one of the most popular shows on the platform. The competition will involve 456 players competing for a $4.56 million cash prize.
‘Squid Game 2’ is expected to hit theatres by the end of the year.
