Music streaming giant Spotify has revealed its yearly rundown of the most-streamed music artists, songs, albums, and podcasts in India for this year. Arijit Singh, became the most streamed artist for the third consecutive year and claiming number one spot. Song “Maan Meri Jaan”, sung by King and Saurabh Lokahande’s emerged as the most-streamed song in India this year. Kabir Singh starring Shahid Kapoor, which released in 2019 is the most-streamed album of 2023.
The rundown also revealed that Arijit is not only loved in India but globally. He became the 12th most-streamed artist across the globe. Singers and Music Composers like like Anirudh Ravichander, AR Rahman, Amitabh Bhattacharya, Alka Yagnik, Vishal-Shekhar, Pritam, Shreya Ghoshal, Sidhu Moose Wala, and Udit Narayan were among the most searched artists in India.

Some of the most streamed songs of the year were, ‘Kesariya’ from the film ‘Brahmastra’, ‘Heeriye’ by Arijit Singh and Jasleen Royal, ‘Chaleya’ from the film ‘Jawan’ among others.
When it comes to genres, Bollywood topped the charts as the most-streamed genre in India. It was followed by , followed by Punjabi Pop and Tamil Pop. Film albums like ‘Brahmastra’, ‘Shershaah’, ‘Aashiqui 2’, ‘Love Aaj Kal’, also were among the the most streamed albums of 2023
