Addressing these rumours of his acting debut, Sourav, told to The Indian Express that “I have shot an endorsement for Netflix to promote the series. I am not in it.” This statement confirms that while he is involved in the promotion, he will not appear in the series itself.

All About The Series ‘Khakee: The Bengal Chapter

The series is to stream on Netflix from March 20, Khakee: The Bengal Chapter is the second one in the Khakee franchise. The first part, Khakee: The Bihar Chapter, was widely appreciated and received love for its intersting storyline.

This new chapter revolves around life in Kolkata in the early 2000s and follows a police officer’s battle against crime and political corruption. The series features a powerful cast, including Prosenjit Chatterjee, Jeet, Parambrata Chatterjee, Chitrangada Singh, and Saswata Chatterjee under direction of Debatma Mondol and Tushar Kanti Roy, with Neeraj Pandey as the creative force behind it.

While Sourav Ganguly may not be making an acting debut, this series promises action, drama, and intense storytelling.
