Chittimalli, a resident of Telangana, recently filed a police complaint against veteran actor Mohan Babu, making serious allegations against him. The complainant linked Mohan Babu to the death of actress Soundarya, who tragically passed away in a plane crash in 2004.
Raghu Breaks Silence On The Allegations
Soundarya’s husband, Raghu GS has now broke silence on the matter and strongly denied the accusations.
Recently, he has given a statement Telugu 360, he called the allegations ‘false’ and ‘baseless’. “I want to deny the baseless news circulating regarding property. There is no property illegally acquired by Shri Mohan Babu from my late wife Soundarya. We never had any land transactions with him, as far as my knowledge is concerned,” Raghu said.

Raghu also defended Mohan Babu he said: “I have known Shri Mohan Babu for more than 25 years. Our families, including my late wife and brother-in-law, shared a deep bond of mutual trust and respect”.
He requested people to stop spreading misinformation, saying: “We share a good rapport and are like family. I want to confirm again that there are no property transactions related to this matter.”
The Allegations Against Mohan Babu
Chittimalli alleged that Mohan Babu pressured Soundarya and her brother Amarnath into selling six acres of land and a guesthouse in Jalapally near Shamshabad. He further claimed that Soundarya was murdered and that Mohan Babu forcibly took possession of her land.
The complaint also raised concerns about Mohan Babu’s alleged disputes with his younger son, Manchu Manoj. However, no FIR has been filed in the case so far.
Soundarya, who was 31 and pregnant at the time, lost her life when her jet crashed while she was travelling for a political campaign with her brother.
