Following the film’s successful reception, In an interview with Times Now Sonu Sood confirmed that a sequel, Fateh-2, is already in the works. He shared, “Yes, I have a sequel on the anvil. That’s how we had planned the project, as Part 1 and Part 2.” The movie’s conclusion, which leaves viewers with an unresolved gunshot scene involving Sonu Sood and Jacqueline Fernandez’s characters, will continue in the sequel.
Looking ahead, Sonu is keen to develop his character, Fateh Singh, as a powerful action hero in the mold of John Wick. He stated, “Sir, plan toh yehi hai. But it all depends on how well Fateh does. So far it’s all good. Some of the toughest critics have given the film a thumbs-up. I can assure everyone, the sequel will be even more volatile.”
Sonu Sood believes that action films have an enduring appeal, citing iconic action stars like Dharmendra. “Good action films are a big high for the audience,” he added, emphasizing the genre’s ability to connect with viewers across generations.
