New Delhi: Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja welcomed a baby boy on Saturday afternoon in New Delhi. Neetu Kapoor, who co-starred in Jugjugg Jeeyo with Sonam’s father Anil Kapoor, shared a screenshot of the parents’ statement.

The statement read, “With bowed heads and hearts, we welcomed our beautiful baby boy on August 20, 2022. Thank you to everyone who has helped us along the way, including doctors, nurses, friends, and family. It’s only the beginning, but we already know our lives have been forever altered. – Anand and Sonam”

Filmmaker Farah Khan also shared the same note on her Instagram stories as she congratulated the new parents. However, Sonam’s family is yet to share the information with fans.

Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja tied the knot on May 8, 2018, in a traditional Anand Karaj ceremony in Delhi. In March 2022, the couple announced that they are expecting their first child together.
