Two highly anticipated sequels, Son of Sardaar 2 and Dhadak 2, were released in theatres on August 1. While Son of Sardaar 2 brings back Ajay Devgn in a comic avatar, Dhadak 2 offers a fresh take on romance with Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri in the lead. Both films had a fair amount of buzz before release, but now that they’re out, audiences and critics are reacting quite differently to each. Son Of Sardaar 2 Box Office Collection Day 6:
Son Of Sardaar 2 had a decent opening weekend at the box office but has seen a noticeable drop in collections through the weekdays. The film began its theatrical run on a strong note, collecting Rs 7.25 crore on Day 1 (Friday). The momentum carried forward into the weekend, with Rs 8.25 crore on Day 2 (a 13.79% jump) and Rs 9.25 crore on Day 3 (up by 12.12%). However, the start of the week saw a significant dip, as Day 4 earnings fell sharply to Rs 2.35 crore, marking a drop of over 74% from Sunday. On Day 5, the film showed a slight recovery, bringing in Rs 2.75 crore, a 17.02% increase. Early estimates for Day 6 suggest a further drop, with the film collecting around Rs 1.65 crore. As of now, the total box office collection for Son Of Sardaar 2 stands at approximately Rs 31.50 crore.
The response for Ajay Devgn’s ‘Son of Sardaar 2’ hasn’t been too promising. The film has largely received mixed to negative reviews. Earlier this year, Raid 2 had a much better start, earning Rs 19.25 crore on its first day. Good reviews and positive word of mouth pushed the film past Rs 100 crore within just a few days.

The first part of ‘Son Of Sardaar 2’ was released in 2012 and starred Sonakshi Sinha, Juhi Chawla and Sanjay Dutt.
Dhadak 2 Box Office Collection Day 6:
Dhadak 2, starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri, has had a mixed run at the box office in its first week. The film opened with a modest collection of Rs 3.5 crore on its first Friday, followed by a slight rise on Day 2 with Rs 3.75 crore. Day 3 saw further growth, bringing in Rs 4.15 crore, which marked the film’s highest single day collection so far. However, the momentum dipped sharply on Day 4, with collections falling to Rs 1.35 crore a significant 67% drop from Sunday. Day 5 saw a minor recovery, adding Rs 1.65 crore, while early estimates for Day 6 suggest another dip with Rs 1 crore coming in. With this, Dhadak 2’s total collection currently stands at approximately Rs 15.40 crore in six days.
The romantic drama is facing tough competition at the box office from Ajay Devgn’s sequel Son of Sardaar 2.
