Aamir Khan’s much anticipated Sitaare Zameen Par has finally hit theatres. The film focuses on specially abled children and features Aamir as a basketball coach. Directed by RS Prasanna, the film also stars Genelia D’Souza and introduces ten first time actors playing specially abled characters and is a remake of the Spanish film Campeones.
The movie has been receiving an amazing response from the audience and it has shown a decent opening in theatres in terms of box office.
Sitaare Zameen Par Box Office Collection Day 2:
According to the website Sacnilk, Sitaare Zameen Par has collected Rs 21.50 crore on its second day, as per early estimates
After opening with Rs 10.7 crore on Day 1, the film saw a strong weekend jump. This brings the total collection to Rs 32.20 crore within just two days of release.

Aamir’s previous film, Laal Singh Chaddha, collected Rs 58.73 crore in its lifetime run.
The movie also stars Aroush Datta, Gopi Krishnan Varma, Vedant Sharmaa, Naman Misra, Rishi Shahani, Ashish Pendse, Samvit Desai, Simran Mangeshkar, Aayush Bhansali, Dolly Ahluwalia, Gurpal Singh, Brijendra Kala, Zeenat Hussain and Nikhat Khan will be seen in pivotal roles.
According to reports, Aamir Khan will skip the OTT release for Sitaare Zameen Par and will choose the ‘pay-per-view’ method. In the pay-per-view method, the viewers will need to pay specifically for the particular film they want to see.
The latest reports claim that Aamir Khan rejected a Rs 120 crore offer by Amazon Prime Video to release the movie on OTT.
