Plot
Set in 1932 Mississippi, the story follows twin brothers Smoke and Stack as they open a juke joint for the Black community. What starts as an act of creation soon turns into horror when they encounter a powerful vampire clan. Against the backdrop of the Jim Crow South, the film explores themes of family, cultural traditions, guilt, and the consequences of sin, with survival, morality, and supernatural danger intertwined.
