New Delhi: It goes without saying that you must sample the litti chokha while you are in Bihar! Abhijeet Bhattacharya, a Bollywood singer, visited the state to play at the Vaishali Mahotsav there, but when he wasn’t given litti chokha, he experienced severe FOMO.
So much so that Abhijeet interrupted his performance midway through to express his disappointment in not receiving this dish. The singer didn’t begin performing until he was given the assurance that he and his entourage would receive litti chokha later.
Abhijeet Bhattacharya demands Litti Chokha amid show
Abhijeet Bhattacharya travelled to Bihar to perform during the Vaishali Mahotsav. The singer wowed the crowd on the third and last day of the festival as he sang some of his popular Bollywood tunes. Many well-known figures from the political sector were also present.
Unfortunately, Abhijeet interrupted his stage performance mid-sentence to talk about litti chokha. He asked for the well-liked dish for himself and his group. Abhijeet resumed performing after the DM informed him that they would be given litti chokha after the concert.
Abhijeet said, “I have been here since yesterday but I still haven’t got any litti chokha.” Turning towards his team, he asked them, “Did you also not get litti chokha?” His team replied, “No, none of us got it.” Then the singer carried on saying, “Bhai sahab, get us litti chokha otherwise I will not sing.”
