Sikandar Vs L2: Empuraan Box Office Collection: Salman Khan’s Actioner Crosses Rs.104 Crore; Check How Much Mohanlal’s Film Earned!

Sikandar, starring Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna was one of the most highly anticipated releases of 2025 and on the other hand is L2: Empuraan which had hit the big screens on 27th March, 2025 setting an unimaginable record on its opening day. The Prithviraj Sukumaran directed mass entertainer has received lot of love from the audience. The film’s opening day collection is more than twice the previous highest for a Malayalam film. Now let’s take a look at their box office collections.

Box office collection

According to Sacnilk, Sikandar collected Rs. 26 crore on its first day but given Salman Khan’s track record of delivering massive Eid openings the numbers seemed a little underwhelming. Sikandar collected Rs. 1.75 crore net its ninth day, bringing its total collection to Rs.104.25 crore. While L2: Empuraan Also earned  Rs. 1.75 crore, bringing its total to Rs.100.10 crore.

Sikandar Star Cast

Apart from Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna, the film also features the talented Kajal Aggarwal, Prateik Babbar, Satyaraj, Kishore and Sharman Joshi. Directed by A.R. Murugadoss the film is expected to be a massive box office hit!

L2: Empuraan Star Cast

The supporting star cast of the film include Tovino Thomas as Jathin Ramdas,  Indrajit Sukumaran as Govardhan Manju Warrier as Priyadarshini Ramdas and  Suraj Venjaramoodu as Sanjanachaandran. Each character is expected to bring their own intrigue to the story which could make the film an overall grand cinematic experience.
