Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s much-awaited film Sikandar is all set for a grand Eid release! Fans have been continuously waiting for the announcement of official release date.
Recently, as per the Bollywood Hunagama reports, the action-packed entertainer will hit cinemas on 30 March, Sunday.
Why Sunday And Not Friday?
The report quoted a source saying, “Sikandar’s release date has been finalised. It will arrive in theatres on Sunday, 30 March. The makers believe this is the perfect day for release. Sunday will be a big holiday, especially in Maharashtra due to Gudi Padwa. The following day, Monday, 31 March, is Ramzan Eid. There will be a holiday effect on Tuesday and Wednesday as well in several centres. Collections will see another jump from Friday, 4 April, right up to Sunday, 6 April. The film is set for a strong and extended box office run.”

The makers shared in a statement that Sikandar is for the big screen, as it features AR Murugadoss’s signature style — romance, politics, drama, revenge, and massive action sequences. The team had wrapped up shooting in January, with only minor patchwork and a promotional song were left to be filmed. All post-production work, including colour grading, VFX and background score is now completed.
Directed by the famous ‘Ghajini’ director AR Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Sikandar promises to be a thrilling action-packed entertainer.
With Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna, the film also stars Kajal Aggarwal, Sharman Joshi, Suniel Shetty, Sathyaraj, and Prateik Babbar.
