Salman Khan’s much-awaited Eid release Sikandar has started advance bookings on a promising note. According to Sacnilk, the film has already got an advance booking gross of Rs. 2.23 crore on the first day across India with more than 64,000 tickets sold.

After getting mixed responses from his last films like Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, Tiger 3 and Dabangg 3. Now, Sikandar is seen as an important project for Salman Khan. With the film set to release around Eid, the expectations from box office numbers are so high.

The film is directed by A.R. Murugadoss known for blockbuster action films like Ghajini and Holiday. Sikandar also features Rashmika Mandanna and Kajal Aggarwal, appealing to both North and South Indian audiences.
