New Delhi: Sidharth Malhotra’s film Yodha has been the talk of the town for some time. There have already been three delays with the film. Due to yet another release date postponement, it is once more in the headlines!
Yodha’s theatrical debut was initially slated for November 2022, however the date was moved earlier to July 7. The producers then announced September 15 as the new release date after yet another delay brought on by VFX problems.
Yodha release date postponed to avoid clash with Jawan
The movie has since been postponed once more. On September 7, Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan will be released, and sources say they expect it to be a box office smash. The film will also include Vijay Sethupathi in addition to Shah Rukh Khan. The Yodha producers have opted to delay the film’s release because it is believed that the Atlee directed movie will undermine the box office for any movie opening around that time.
When choosing a new release date, the producers are taking October, November, and even December 1 into consideration.
Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra made his screen debut in the 2012 smash blockbuster Student of the Year. His most recent appearance was in Shantanu Bagchi’s Mission Majnu, which starred Rashmika Mandanna opposite him. His upcoming film, Yodha, which stars Disha Patani and is directed by Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha, will feature him opposite Patani. He will also be featured with Vivek Oberoi and Shilpa Shetty in Rohit Shetty’s Indian Police Force.
