The new release date for Param Sundari, starring Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor, is officially locked! The romantic drama, earlier set to hit theatres on July 25, has been pushed to a later date. Buzz around Param Sundari has been strong ever since its first look dropped.
Taking to social media on Wednesday, Maddock Films announced the update via X (formerly Twitter), posting, “Dinesh Vijan brings to you the Biggest Love Story of the Year #ParamSundari arrives in cinemas on 29th August. And in just 1 hour, feel its soul with the year’s most heartfelt song — #Pardesiya #ParamSundari #ParamSundariOn29thAugust.”

The post revealed that the first song, Pardesiya, sung by Sonu Nigam, will be released soon. A snippet of the track featured in the teaser, and fans are already raving about it on social media.
Earlier, a PeepingMoon report said, “Dinesh Vijan didn’t want Param Sundari to be lost in a crowded release schedule next month.” The producer reportedly feels that the romantic drama has commercial value. “Since there are already other rom-coms releasing in July, the visibility and reception of Sidharth-Janhvi’s film might have been affected,” the source had said.
