Shruti Haasan confirmed on Instagram that her official X (formerly Twitter) account has been hacked, following a suspicious cryptocurrency and memecoin-related posts that appeared on her timeline earlier today.
She addressed the situation via her Instagram Stories, writing, “Hi lovelies, Just want to let you know my Twitter account has been hacked. That’s not me posting. So don’t interact with that page till I’m back please.”
The actress is reportedly working with the platform to regain control of her account. She also urged fans to avoid clicking on any links or engaging with content from her profile until the issue is resolved.

The unusual tweets, filled with crypto jargon and spam like promotions including one claiming, “I’ve been in crypto for 3 years — time to give back. Launching a memecoin for my followers! $5M market cap in 24h? Let’s go! Launch tomorrow. Get your SOL wallets ready. Story dropping soon on IG. Much love!” raised concern among fans.
Meanwhile on the work front, Shruti is gearing up for Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and starring the legendary Rajinikanth. The film is slated to release on August 14.
