Shreyas Talpade has finally responded to rumours of him being involved in multi-crore chit fund scam, telling that the allegations are ‘completely false and baseless.’ The actor and his team have issued an official statement addressing the ongoing controversy and urged people to fact-check before spreading any kind of misinformation.
Shreyas Talpade’s Official Response
Taking to Instagram, Shreya’s team released a official statement and have expressed disappointment over how easily a person’s reputation can be harmed by baseless rumours.
The statement reads: “Recent reports alleging Mr. Shreyas Talpade’s involvement in fraud or misconduct are completely false, baseless, and devoid of any merit whatsoever.”

It further statement they clarified that, as a public figure Shreyas often attends corporate and annual events but he has no connection to any kind of fraud activities.
The team concluded the statement by writing: “Mr. Talpade is a law-abiding citizen who remains committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, honesty, and professionalism. We urge everyone to verify facts before spreading misinformation.”
What is the Controversy About?
The controversy started from allegations against The Loni Urban Multistate Credit and Thrift Cooperative Society Limited.
Some of the reports suggested that a company is collecting large sums by falsely claiming the money would double in a short period. Shreyas Talpade is also connected to the company and linked to the scam.
However, shreyas remains at his stance that he has no involvement in the matter.
