While her account is now safe, Shreya through her video also raised concerns about misleading advertisements that runs on X. She said many of these contain clickbaity headlines and AI-generated images about her which leads users to fraudulent links. Shreya urged fans to stay alert and report such ads.

Not Alone in Facing the Problem
The singer also mentioned that she is not the only public figure affected by these fake ads. Several other celebrities have raised the same issue, but the platform has yet to take firm action. “I have no power in taking them down. These are X ad regulations, and I hope they address this soon,” she added.
Earlier Warning on Instagram
On March 1, Shreya had informed her followers on Instagram that her X account had been hacked since February 13. She warned people not to click on any links or messages from the compromised account and promised to post a video once it was recovered- something she has now fulfilled.
Fans were delighted to see her back and welcomed her return to the platform.
