In light of the tragic Pahalgam attack, Shreya Ghoshal has cancelled her Surat concert scheduled for April 26.

Singer Shreya Ghoshal has  cancelled her next concert in Surat, which was a part of her current All Hearts Tour, due to the unfortunate terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. The concert was to be held on Saturday, April 26, at the Pandit Dindayal Upadhyay Indoor Stadium The news was confirmed via a joint statement released by Shreya and the event organisers on social media. The decision comes as a mark of respect and mourning for those affected by the recent attack.

Joint Statement Shared On Instagram

Taking to social media platform Instagram, the singer and the organisers posted an emotional message to the fans which read, “In light of the recent and tragic events, the organisers along with the artist have collectively made the decision to cancel the upcoming show scheduled to happen in Surat this Saturday, April 26th. All ticket holders will receive full refunds, and the amount will be automatically refunded back to your original mode of payment and captioned it with @shreyaghoshal ’s Surat show on April 26th stands cancelled. We stand in silence and solidarity—with heartfelt condolences to those affected by the tragedy.”

While some fans expressed disappointment over the cancellation, most stood by the decision, praising the singer and her team for their empathy and sensitivity. Social media was flooded with comments commending the choice to prioritise the larger emotional sentiment. A fan wrote “Sad 😢.
