Triptii Dimri is gearing up for the release of her movie ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’ and has been busy with promotions. Amid her rising popularity, the actress recently received backlash after she allegedly skipped an event in Jaipur. She was reportedly invited to the Nari Shakti event at Jaipur but according to the organisers, she skipped the event and directly went to the airport.
In the video shared by Glamsham on Instagram, the organisers were visibly upset about Triptii’s absence from the event and urged people to boycott the actress and her upcoming movie. Expressing her anger on Triptii’s anger, one of the organisers said, “No one should watch her movie. They make commitment but don’t know how to manage their time. She (Triptii) is not a big celebrity and no one knows her. We came here to know who is she.”
Later, the organisers asked people present at the event to “boycott” Triptii. They were even seen marking Triptii’s poster with a pen.
On the work front, Triptii was last seen in ‘Bad Newz’ with Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk in the lead roles. The movie became successful at the box office and is now streaming on Prime Video.
She has been busy promoting her upcoming movie ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’ with Rajkummar Rao. The movie will release on October 11, 2024.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the actress talked about the trolling she faced in the dance number ‘Mere Mehboob’. She said, “As an actor, I’m trying to do different things. First, I thought that you only needed to know acting to be an actor, and you’re sorted. When things got real, I realised that when you’re offered shows, you should know how to walk properly, when you get offered a dance number, you should know how to dance well.”

“I said, ‘I have to try everything’. But one can’t be good at everything. But what’s wrong with trying? You have to give it your best; you’re here now. I didn’t realise (while shooting). It was my first dance number. I haven’t really done one like this before. And I didn’t think that it would get the kind of response that it’s getting. But it’s fine; it happens to everybody. There are things that people like, there are things that people don’t like. But that doesn’t mean that you stop experimenting,” she added.
Triptii will next star in ‘Dhadak 2’ with Siddhant Chaturvedi.
