Shoaib Ibrahim and Dipika Kakkar are one of the most loved couples in the television industry and enjoy a good fan following on social media. Amid the love from fans, the couple have also faced public scrutiny due to some baseless rumours. It was rumoured that Dipika abandoned her daughter from the first marriage after marrying Shoaib. However, the couple have finally dismissed the rumours and revealed that Dipika does not have a daughter.
Completely dismissing the rumours about Dipika’s first child, Shoaib said, “I’m saying it very clear today that this news is fake. The motive of the person who has spread this wrong news is unclear.” He also revealed that Dipika was affected mentally during her pregnancy as these rumours emerged at that time.
He revealed, “She was affected mentally. She was told so many things…” Then Dipika said, “What all I had to face the time when I was pregnant when I delivered Ruhaan and when I was taking care of him. People claimed to know many things and now that we are talking about it, I was very upset. Shoaib calmed me down.”
Dipika explained that her photos with a child actor from the sets of Sasuraal Simar Ka went viral on social media and the rumours about her having a daughter emerged.
Dipika and Shoaib met on their show ‘Sasural Simar Ka’, which aired on Colors TV channel. The couple married in 2018 in Bhopal and welcomed their son in 2023.
On the work front, Dipika is currently seen in the cooking reality show Celebrity MasterChef, which airs on SonyTV channel.
